The Australian Government ICT Graduate Program is a new recruitment initiative that targets University graduates with an ICT degree. It is an exciting opportunity for students who are interested in working in the Australian Government to apply for graduate positions in multiple government agencies through only one application. All positions are based in Canberra. To be eligible, candidates must be Australian Citizens (by January 2013) and have obtained their degree within the past 7 years.

The program is structured to support graduates in their transition from study to work, and provides 11 months of structured training activities to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to become high quality ICT professionals.

Applications for the program open this Thursday, 22 March 2012 and close on Tuesday, 3 May 2012. During this period students will be able to apply online through our website www.australia.gov.au/ictentrylevel<http://www.australia.gov.au/ictentrylevel> or Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/ICT.Entry.Level.Programs> page.

I've attached a copy of our promotional brochure and poster to this email and would ask that you distribute them to everyone in your society.

For more information students can check out our website www.australia.gov.au/ictentrylevel<http://www.australia.gov.au/ictentrylevel> or call us on 02 6215 2889. They can also find us on Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/ICT.Entry.Level.Programs> for updates on the recruitment process and tips on how to apply.

Thanks very much for your time.
